A new video of the now-infamous “Mosul Orb” UAP has just been released – and it’s the first time the public is seeing actual moving footage of the mysterious object. Here’s the full backstory and why this matters.
What Is the Mosul Orb?
In April 2016, a U.S. military reconnaissance aircraft flying over Mosul, Iraq, captured footage of a metallic, spherical object moving through the air. This image was first leaked in 2023 by investigative journalists Jeremy Corbell and George Knapp — just a single black-and-white still. It showed what looked like a smooth orb flying in a warzone, and it quickly sparked international interest. Now, we have the video.
The New Footage
On July 1, 2025, independent journalist Dustin Slaughter released a 4-second video clip of the Mosul Orb on the Weaponized podcast. The footage, obtained through a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit, shows the orb in motion. It’s silent. It’s metallic. And it doesn’t behave like anything conventional – no wings, no visible propulsion, no sound. According to Slaughter, the clip was part of a longer intelligence package reviewed internally by U.S. defense officials.
Why This Is a Big Deal, it’s the first public video and hopefully not the last as I am sure there’s more videos like this hiding in Pentagon computes: Until now, all we had was a still image. This confirms movement and adds credibility.
Military origin:
Captured by a U.S. reconnaissance plane, not a civilian or shaky phone cam.
No easy explanation: It’s not a balloon, drone, or puddle on the ground. This thing was in the air, near combat zones. This is a big win for transparency, this video only came out because a journalist took legal action to get it released.
What Comes Next? Expect deep analysis from experts and amateur investigators alike. Questions are already swirling: Is this object intelligently controlled? Does it match other “orb” sightings seen around U.S. military sites? Are there more videos like this still hidden from the public?
Final Thought: The Mosul Orb is now more than just a photo – it’s a documented piece of military UAP footage that the government didn’t voluntarily release. Thanks to FOIA pressure and real journalism, the public can finally see it.
Keep watching. This could just be the start.
